In trading on Tuesday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.4% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Pioneer Natural Resource (PXD), up about 7.5% and shares of SM Energy (SM), up about 5.1% on the day.
