China Start-Up Idea From Babson’s Eriko Nishimoto: Mobile Auction Sites

Eriko Nishimoto is a member of a group of 18 MBA students from Babson College visiting Shanghai this week to learn about the business landscape. I asked each for his or her best idea for a start-up company that would succeed in China.
Eriko saw a great future for mobile auction services for personal branded goods that would tap into social networks rather than Amazon or eBay.  Payment can be arranged in China through existing financial services such as Alipay, she noted.
