If there was a Hall of Fame for Super Bowl advertising, Steve Hayden and Lee Garfinkel would be in it. Hayden, retired vice chairman of Ogilvy, is responsible for the most famous Big Game ad of all, Apple’s legendary 1984. Garfinkel, currently Chairman and Chief Creative Officer for Havas Worldwide, created Pepsi’s classic Cindy Crawford “Just One Look” spot among many others while working at DDB and BBDO. In short, these guys got game.
