From Dissatisfaction Comes Innovation

I watched a show on the History channel about the days of John D. Rockefeller, J.P. Morgan and Henry Ford. In the same time of the commerce giants of Rockefeller, Morgan and Carnegie, Henry Ford was an innovator. Ford was trying to get the rights to build his vision of an automobile that could be used by anyone, but he had to get Association of Licensed Automobile Manufacturers (ALAM) to give him the rights to build, as they had the Selden patent on the automobile and everyone had to get licensed by ALAM to build. While fighting ALAM, he started producing and changed manufacturing forever with the development of the assembly line.
