Today, entrepreneurs can launch minimum viable product in less time, and for less money. With products to market faster, entrepreneurs have more time to measure response, can more quickly understand customer need, and faster iterate toward a product-market fit that solves a real problem and adds value that people are willing to pay for. But another consequence of decreasing cost is the proliferation of smaller iterative innovation and the rise of the ?me-too? app, product, and even company. As will always be the case, new market entrants will continue to soak up consumer surplus, but the laggards can be distracting.
