Small Businesses Not Examining the Health Care Tax Credit

To encourage small businesses with fewer than 25 full time employees to provide employee health insurance, Congress provided a tax credit under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to offset the cost of providing worker health coverage to those businesses with lower income workers that paid for at least 50 percent of the cost of single coverage.
