There’s a horrible scene in the book and movie, “No Country For Old Men,” in which a deranged and sadistic criminal (warning: plot spoiler) shoots a potential witness long after she presented a threat. He offers her a coin toss before her demise but she refuses to call it and he shoots her anyway. Truly fiction that makes you cringe.
