12 Housing Markets Moving In The Right Direction

Every component in the S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city index of home prices is weaker than a year ago, ranging from Minneapolis (down 10.8%) to Washington D.C. (down just 1.2%), but 12 of those cities have shown higher prices in three straight months. The improvement – admittedly slim – highlights regional differences but may also signal some stabilization in prices on a national basis.
