In trading on Thursday, the Gold Miners ETF (GDX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.8% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Sibanye Gold (SBGL), up about 3.2% and shares of Kinross Gold (KGC), up about 3.1% on the day.
